BURNING TEE GOLF LEAGUE 

There are several leagues at the Penn State Golf Courses, one of which is the Burning Tee Golf League.  This particular league is for any and all male members 50 years of age or older, no matter what their skill level may be.  If you want to share some good times with a lot of other old duffers this is the league for you.  It has been in existence since 1960 and had a membership of 120 players in 2007.    

To explain a little about our league, we normally play every Tuesday morning throughout the golfing season using both golf courses.    We have a 9-hole division and an 18-hole division, whichever you would prefer.  In addition, we have about ten different tournaments throughout the year, some of them scrambles, while others are individual competition of various formats.  Also, we have already scheduled tournaments at Treasure Lake and at Iron Masters golf courses later this summer. 

The league will be having our annual Spring meeting at the American Legion Clubhouse on Wednesday, April 9 at 7:30 and our golfing program begins on April 15.  You are welcome to attend this meeting if you would like to join the league.
